KETO Grilled Cheese Sandwiches | Low Carb Recipe

So, these are more like keto pancake sandwiches. One with bacon and cheddar, another with ham and Swiss, and the last one with American cheese.

What I Used:

  • Almond flour (2 cups)
  • Mozzarella cheese (1-1/2 cups shredded)
  • Baking powder (1 tsp)
  • Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener (1 tbsp)
  • Salt (1 tsp)
  • 3 eggs
  • Heavy cream (2 tbsp)
  • Butter
  • Bacon, cheddar cheese
  • Ham, Swiss cheese
  • American cheese

 

What I Did:

I first but the bacon strips to cook.

Then in a bowl, added the almond flour, mozzarella cheese, baking powder, sweetener, and salt. Whisked that all together before adding the eggs and heavy cream.

Using a griddle pan, I put a tbsp. of butter to melt. Then added the batter. To make the slices of bread, I first shaped the batter into a rectangle. Then when the bottom was cooked, I cut it in half then flipped over.

Once flipped I added the pieces of cheese to each side and covered to help melt.

After each side was cooked through, I closed the sandwich, pressed down and served.
